    Default Keeping worms alive longer.

How can I keep my Canadian nightcrawlers alive longer. I heard putting them on the fridge makes them last weeks. It's too warm in my house I think so they die after a few days. Also what should I feed them or do they not need to be gut loaded?

You can keep them in the fridge just make sure they do not freeze. You may also put them in used moist coffee grounds. when i was younger we would catch our own night crawlers for fishing and use this method. the worms would stay alive all summer and even start breeding.

Is there anything else to feed them? Do they eat fruit, veg or leaves like lettuce?

just keep them in good soil it has all they need to survive. Refrigerate them at a temperature of around 38 to 40 degrees.I would mix the coffee grounds with the soil.Hey jack is that a picture of your frog?

I just changed my avatar but its always one of my frogs. These are my frogs. The pacman frog male and is called Citrus and I have yet to name the African Bullfrog but he is male aswell and just over 2 months old. The first pic is the pacman and the second and third picture show how much the bullfrog has grown in just 2 months.

I don't know which pic you were referring to because I changed my avatar around the time you posted that message.
