A newbie in Japan

Hello froggy forumists I'm a native of Japan and my several tree frogs are also natives of here (Hyla japonica). Mainly interested in tree frogs.

Konnichiwa and welcome. This means you live with one of the most beautiful amphibians in the world, the Japanese toad (Bufo japonicus). We have a friend from Fukui (now lives in Tempe AZ) that was just out visiting us. I asked her next time she goes back to Japan, we need to figure out how you can get a pair of these back to the US. Oh, and the tree frogs are very pretty also.

Welcome to frog forum. I took a look at a picture you posted of your tree frog and I think it's colours are amazing. I know you said you are mainly interested in tree frogs but do you think you will ever get terrestrial or aquatic frogs or is all your into arboreal species. I don't have much experience with tree frogs. I was going to get a whites but ended up not getting it. Once though I did care for a tree frog that I caught when on holiday then released it when it was time to go home.

Gail, I sow your cute green tree frogs in a nice vivarium in your album I'm hoping you can get on bringing a pair of the toads in your home before long, good luck!

Jack, thank you for your comment to my 'blue' tree frogs on the other thread She changes her skin colour from turquoise blue to dull bluish grey with or without markings.
I'm also attracted other colourful little frogs - ie. dart frogs and glass frogs - but I wouldn't like keeping them by myself at the moment. They requier lots of special treatments at my place.
