Unhappy Problem with Grey Tree Frog sticky pads.

I have had my frog for over a year now and he's has this weird thing that he does. I don't think he does it on purpose but every once in awhile he would go to hop and his back sticky pads seem like they don't release its grip so when he hops his front end moves but his hind legs stay where he put them. He will try to release the grip but he struggles to get his sticky pads t release their grip. I'm afraid he will break his hind legs. He is kinda over weight(not bad though) Does anyone have any idea why he does that? It seems like he will break his legs. is it because he too fat? but he isn't that bad. Please help.

I love Grey's. There are all over where I live. I have 3 of them. All of them were raised from an egg. Tubby-my male year old, Slimmer and Psycho aren't a month old yet. I also have a few grey Tadpoles left. I never see grey's in petstore only in the wild.

    Hi,
It's terrible to worry about them ! Sorry

Make sure the humidity is not too low.
Give the enclosure , including the glass , a mist just before- 'lights out'.
Let me know if this helps.

Are you dusting their feeders w/ calcium regularly ?
