Today, at approximately 5pm, one of my juvenile Green and Golden Bell frogs, named Mr Chubbs, passed away.
He had severe MDB and tetany, and hadn't eaten anything for approximately a month. I tried as hard as I could to save him, but sadly I failed.
Rest in Peace, Mr Chubbs. I hope you are in froggy heaven with strong bones so you can catch all the fruit flies you like.
In the relatively short time I had you, you captured my heart. I'm so sad you had to leave us in such an awful way. I promise to take care of your siblings.
Love from Gabby.

Awe, I'm so sorry Gabby. You did a wonderful job of taking care of him. Bless his little heart. You're a great frog mom!
Sweet dreams, Chubbs. You are now at peace.

Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Thanks, Heather and Lija. At least he's not suffering any more. I'm sure he's pretty happy wherever he is now![]()
