New FBT owner needing help with plants.
New FBT owner needing help with plants.
If anyone could possibly post a list of safe plants i can use in my FBT tank and possibly a link to a website that sells them that would be great.
Thanks in advance
Dave.

				Hi
In my experience, agreat plant is Hydrocotyle leucocephala: it grows both in water and on land and can cover the whole tank in a short time. Toads like to stay on it and they lay eggs attached on the stems underwater. Another good one is Hydrocharis morsus-ranae, which is oly floating and harder to find; tadopoles like its leaves as food. All these plants are commonly sold in aquarium stores, at least here in Italy; in general, aquarium plants are almost always good: many of these are sold as underwater plants but can actually live both emersed and submersed, and fit well in paludariums: for example, Anubias, Microsorum, Eleocharis etc.
Hope it can help
Marco
