Lucifer is an American Green Tree Frog.

Then I would feed him; Dubia roaches, Night crawlers, Mealworms, Wax worms [but only as a treat], etc. Give him more variety with his food. that might make him eat again. He was probably underfed, not cared about, and sick when he was at the pet store. What pet store did you get him from?

How is Lucifer? Is he eating?

Lucifer has been doing off and on. I finally got a poo sample and he does have some parasites that are treatable. I believe they started with an "r" but I was still overwhelmed by the loss of Laputa I was half paying attention when they called me. Marven and Lucifer are both on .02ml of Panacur susp. every 24 hours for 3 days and then I will submit another poo sample to get tested. Lucifer has been off and on. I found him twice within a month of him looking all shriveled and dying looking but as soon as I give him a honey bath he pops right back up and is full of life. He hasn't eaten hardly any since I've had him, but he is doing about 1-3 crickets every night to 2-3 days. He stopped croaking which I would assume is because he is full of parasites?

Good to hear there's a diagnoses. Yes, I'd say he stopped croaking due to parasites, but I'm far from an expert so I can't confirm for sure. Is he looking very skinny? I'd suggest whenever you find him not looking so good, to give him a Pedialyte soak; 1:10 ratio of Pedialyte to de-chlorinated, lukewarm water. It will replace lost electrolytes and give him a little more energy, which I assume he doesn't have much of because he's not eating much.

How big is he? Is he big enough to force feed if you need to?

Hope that Panacur kicks in soon...

When I went to give him his meds last night, he was pretty boney. I have given him at least 2 reptiboost feedings, which gave me a sample of poo to give to the vet. I wasn't getting anything from him for the longest time. After I force feed him, he'll eat one or two crickets for a day or so then stop eating for a while and I see the most droppings after that short period. I had him in a 12x12x18 tank, the one I first got for my frogs and I now have him in a little critter keeper just so I can keep track of his eating better and find his droppings better. He loves to jump when I'm trying to take care of him though, he bruised his nose the first day I had him just getting him home from the store. I bought him July 27, but I'm not introducing him to Marven until I get a good to go from the vet.
