Default Do white's tree frogs change their color due to light?

My frog was a nice green when I got him. he turned brown Friday night but I assumed it was him saying he was stressed since he was moved to the office the day before then back to my from Friday night. I turned off his light tonight before the temp in the tank got too high. come back 20 minutes later and he is brown again. I assume he will do this every night when the light is off? I know they change colors but never found out what the color change means.

    This is quite normal.
Light, mood, stress and also temperatures are reasons for this.
They will also change to blend in with their background
Typically greener during the day and darker at night.
