I got some plants for my new viv and some of them aren't doing so well. One of the philodendron wend imbe's leaves are turning dark green and withering. And the moss I added has turned from green to yellowish-white. Is it just because they're new and are acclimating to the new surroundings, or is there something I can do to help? The other philodendron wend imbe which I added on the same day is doing perfectly fine, as is the other philodendron.

Hi Fellow Long Islander
The mound moss is very difficult to get going!
I hate to say it , but I gave up! It does ok for a while ....then ....
It's hard to tell what might have happened to the philo.
Could you possible post a photo of the entire tank?
Please remind us.......... as to:
- what frogs you are planning got put into the tank.
- how are you maintaining the humidity
-information about the the lights
-what soil/substrate did was used
-how were the plants prepared prior to being put into the enclosure
Talk to you soon !
Lynn

I intend to house three fire belly toads.
I'm misting the glass and the decor twice a day and half the top is covered with glass. I'm counting on the moss and substrate to maintain some moisture and have a large water area. Unfortunately, I can only maintain it at 60%.
I have one daylight bulb for plant growth. I forget the brand and the other information on it, but if I recall, I'll post it. There's also a moonlight heat bulb but that's only for cold winter nights.
I'm using Zoomed eco earth.
For the philodendron wend imbes, I rinsed the old soil off their roots in a sink faucet and then planted them right into the vivarium. For the moss, I soaked them for a few minutes in a bucket of water, squeezed the water out, and placed the pieces on top of the substrate. The moss is the frog moss from Zoomed.
Here's the entire tank:

Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Found the light bulb information! It's a GE compact fluorescent 26w. Here's the information. Amazon.com: GE Lighting 89095 Energy Smart 26-Watt Daylight Spiral Compact Fluorescent Bulb: Home Improvement
I'm trying to research ABG soil, but I can't find anything on it. Can you tell me about it?
If that is the boxed green moss from zoomed it's going to die and lose it's color once it is exposed to moisture, it doesn't come back to life from my experience with it. What kind of soil and drainage do you have in the tank?
Oops, missed the follow up posts. ABG is made out of tree fern, fir bark, charcoal, long fiber sphagnum, and a bit of peat. It is similar to a well draining orchid mix without the perlite.

Bonnie is right
Sorry, you might think about yanking it?
Even the 'live' mound moss is almost impossible to keep green.
This will grow nicely with proper plant lighting:
Live Tropical Moss
Plus BJs has GREAT , healthy plants! I have never been disappointed. The majority of my plants are from them.
Welcome to ReptileExpo.com very easy drive ( black jungle is always at this show - great people )
I can give you directions that are quicker than the ones on the website

Thanks for the link to the ABG soil. I'm going to Europe now but I'll order it when I get back. I'm going to keep the eco earth until it's time to replace it. I just hate wasting.
I'll see how the Zoomed moss is doing when I get back in two weeks before I decide what to do with it.
For drainage, I have one inch of gravel under the eco earth. When I set up the tank, I didn't know I had to separate the gravel and soil, so they're mixing a little. But when the time comes to replace the soil, I'll put a screen between them.
