    Default Jungle Nymphs

Just ordered some jungle nymphs and some lime green stick insects and I plan to breed them and sell of extras which I don't need. They jungle nymph females are really cool insects and are the heaviest stick insects in the world. I also had the idea of feeding extra ones to my bullfrog since they are huge and could provide a bit of variation to his diet. Do you think these are ok for frogs or are they poisonous? Here is a pic of a male and female, they aren't my ones.

Not sure if Heteropteryx dilatata can release toxic secretions like some Phasmids do; but it does have large sharp spines and the will to use them . For that reason I would not feed frogs with them and recommend you wear gloves when handling !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Ok. I was just thinking of other ways to get rid of excess babies without having to kill them. I guess I could just try to sell all the extra babies.

Ask Darren and I don't think the spines should pose a threat when their tiny or juvenile
