    I agree, it's a dwarf male.

As babies Giants have a blue tint on their front and hind legs.

That bright Dorsal stripe on your juvi here is a dead giveaway though. Giants tend to have jagged edges to their dorsal stripe and it is normally green where yours is more uniform. Skull structure is also different.

Another way to tell a Dwarf from a Giant is the distance from the eye to its Tympanum(ear). Giants have a distance of which 1.5 to 2 of the frog's eyes could fit between and Dwarf distance is only 1 eye width apart. Dwarf's Tympanum will also sport a white spot in the center of the tympanum.

Where did you get him from? So other buyers can be aware.

Many sellers don't know how to properly identify them when young or make an order for GABF and receive a mix from their supplier. Other's sell all as Giants knowingly because they have a bigger market.

    P. edulis are still nice frogs and some males do grow quite large for being called dwarfs . Think you have a nice looking boy; maybe a bit fat. Would put him on a diet with no mice or pinced (beetle) worms of any kind. Good luck !

In the next to last pic he looks kind of chubby, look at belly and rear legs . Night crawlers are the best food; how many he eats and how often?
