I have baby frogs right now, but I'm in the process of setting up enclosures for them once they get a little bigger. I online ordered a few bowls and didnt realize until I got them that they were much too steep/deep, and cant be used. What size, brand, etc do you all use?
I like the bowls with built in ramps like Zoo Med and others offer.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Thanks! I was looking at those with ramps too, as well as Flukers corner bowls. No ramp, but pretty shallow - we have one for my kingsnake and its ~3/4" deep.
I like the water bowls that go in the ground. It has a built in ramp and you just push it into the substrate. The frog doesn't have to jump over a ledge to get in. I forget what brand I have.
I like the repti rock "food" dishes, nice and wide yet very shallow, easy in easy out, no need to bury the dish

I use really small clay style dishes for my babies, when they get older, I use typical leopard gecko dishes, when they get around teen I permanently switch to exo-terra dishes with ramps.
