Dart frogs question

I'm looking into keep Dart frogs, I was thinking of Dendrobates Auratus. Does anyone have these and what are they like? I read they do well when kept in groups.

Also, when keeping Darts is there a certain ratio to keep them male to female? 1.2.0 or whatever

Auratus do well groups, but I would lean towards more males. Females will eat other females eggs. That's if you care about breeding them.

They're gorgeous frogs and the colours are amazing! However, they can be shy and need a very well planted tank to feel comfy. Lots of leaf litter helps too.

These are some of my favorite Darts, love the colors and patterns. They can be rather shy, and can hide a lot. They can be a hardy frog but they can also be stressed out pretty easy as well. All of my Darts I keep in pairs, I find they do really well this way. I personally do not have experience keeping more then a pair so maybe someone else could chime in on these guys in a group setting.

The problem I'll have is the plants, I know nothing yet so a lot of research is needed first.

Does anyone know a good online shop in the UK and can anyone advise me the best plants to use for these frogs
