1. What kind of frog would be good for a person that has never owned an amphibian? (I would also prefer that this frog is quite active, climbs a lot, and can have another frog with him.)
2. What should I use for the ground in the tank?
3. How many times a day would I need to service the vivarium?
4. I really like how this tank looks. Opinions?
Thanks in advance for taking your time to answer my questions![]()
Hello and welcome to FF! This article is very good to help you decide on a frog: Frog Forum - Choosing a Frog . After reading it, take a look at White Tree Frogs (active but mostly nocturnal) and Green & Golden Bell Frogs (active and both diurnal/nocturnal). Then decide if they are a pet you would like to get involved with.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Thank you for linking me to those documents, I really appreciate it. The only problem is that I am not really a big fan of how the white tree frogs and bell frogs look - what would be your opinion on dendrobates leucomelas in a pair?
