They can do cool and dry (won't breed or grow), or warm and humid.

I use 150 watt heat lamps And they works wonders. I do have to pay closer attention to the humidity. water crystals are a must. And the occasional misting is always good.

I use a heat mat and lamp and I have never misted ever and my Dubias are breeding fast. Also I find perfect sheds all over the enclosure.
