I'm moving my froglets into their final place today and I still have them on fruit flies (due to being unable to get a hold of pinheads) I know to use a glass bowl but is there anything more I should know? How big of a glass bowl ect?
Any and all help would be appreciated <3
I think Glass bowls only for crickets and roaches.
Fruit flies can climb glass easily, so the bowl method only works for crickets, roaches and grasshoppers. For my froglets, I feed them in a critter keeper with a sheet of muslin between the lid and the base to keep the flies from making a run for it. I have tried feeding in the terrarium, but the fruit flies can fit between the gaps in the glass of mine (I have an Exo-Terra).
If dragons were real I'd totally be in on that...

Okay so I'll buy some pinheads from Josh before I move my froglets.
Thanks you guys!
Hi,
Hold of on using the 'bowl feeding ' method until the froglets are much bigger.
Simply let the feeders crawl around the enclosure. Make dinner easy
Try not to put too many in.
If the cricks or FF climb on the frogs ...it stresses them out
Put in the amt of food that they finish off in about 1/2 hour.
