So this is how i have been going about feeding my pacman frog for the past two days. I will not feed her for two days straight as an attempt to buff up her feeding response. Sorry about bad quality. This was filmed with a go pro. [Edit] You will notice how sometimes when something is somewhat near his eye he closes it. He does this even when crickets pass by. Why?
lol Blinking. Same reason you'd blink if a cricket crawled past your eye and you didn't want to eat it.
Rubbing food on her mouth is the only way I can get Trevor to eat since I had to do it for so long when she was sick. Now she pretty much immediately takes it.
Don't squeeze all the "sh1t" or guts out of the nightcrawler. Those are all nutrients for the frog. Also check out Tong Feeding 101 on youtube to improve on how to tong feed frogs. Your frog is big enough to feed a third to half of an entire nightcrawler. It's unnecessary to cut the worm in pieces smaller than an inch. Nice video. Keep working on it you'll have a tong-trained frog in no time!
I have seen IvoryReptiles's tong feeding videos before this video. Thanks for telling me about squeezing out the contents. I thought it might harm my frog. I usually get a third if a worm then cut it up. I only showed you a fraction of what I fed him.
