Exclamation question with green tree grog coloring!

I am a 9 day American green tree frog owner. On about the third or fourth day after i had them i took them to the vet, and she gave them an all clear. But i have a question. I have two big female frogs, and three smaller baby males. The females are both green. Their color ranges From greens. dark green to light green. But the smaller frogs are all different colors. Two f them are browish tanish. And the other one is green-white. At first i thought it was a result from them not getting enough sunlight. So i put the little ones in a ziploc container that i had cleaned, and put them outside where they could get some sun. They greened up a little after a hour, but still just dont look green.

Is this a problem? they all seem to be eating and pooping and getting water just fine and they make noise in the morning.

I am just wondering if i should contact my vet. It costs a lot of money to take them to see her though, And i am trying to avoid it if i can.

Is this normal? let me know. Oh! and i dont see any specific spots of white or black on them, they are just a different color than green.

would you please post your answers to "trouble in the enclosure" questions here as well as pics of your enclosure and frogs.
one thing that worry me right away, - did i get it right? - you have 2 big females and 3 baby frogs in one tank? what is the size difference? what is the size of the tank? anyhow please run down the questions, will be easier to help you this way. there are things you can do without going to a vet, paying $ and stressing them out without need.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

I have 2 AGTF and they range from almost black to almost white. For mine it all depends where they are sitting. On something really dark, almost black, on logs, brown, on green leaves, green, on white leaves, almost white. It also helps to post pictures.

thanks for replying. What is "Trouble in the enclosure"? I am a new member, and I searched for it, but couldn't find anything immediately. When I consulted my vet about what size enclosure I could get and what I should have in it since I have 5 green tree frogs, she said that the enclosure that I have is good and that they should be fine. my enclosure is 18x18x21. I have two bigger females and they are about 2 and a half inches long and growing every day. Its amazing how they all have grown since I got them! Once again I say that they are all eating and going just fine, and when I took them to the vet she gave them and their skin an all clear. I read online that it is normal to see color differences, even tan in tree frogs from time to time. Even speaking, I went home and checked them about an hour ago, and a male that had been a very light green before was a bright neon green. But he was sitting near the lamp. One of the baby males is 1 and a half inches long. the other two baby males are 1 inch.

that's what I was looking for! I was just wondering if other people's tree frogs ranged in color too! thanks for replying. And the problem is that my computer will not let me post pictures at the moment, but as soon as I can, I will. Thanks again.

thanks! I deduced from that it says that they can change color. It has only been a couple days since I moved them from the vets, so maybe they are still adjusting a little bit. They are only tan now. Well, my question is resolved, but if you guys have anything else that you want to say im ok with it. If it gets any worse or stays that way for a while I might just take them to the vet, but they look pretty normal right now. thanks!

I would not house these together due to size differences. 2.5" Frog + 1" Frog Can = One Fat 2.5" Frog.

They aren't really known to be aggressive cannibals, but it can and does happen (google "Hyla cinerea cannibalism" if photographic proof is required). It wouldn't be worth the risk to me.

The color really does vary a lot. I have a brown one and a bluish one, and one who recently passed away that was super bright green and didn't even have a white stripe.
