I was looking at my green tree frog this morning, and noticed that while he was currently colored brown, he had a bright green spot on his back for some reason. Upon closer inspection, there's a black line running through that spot that looks like a cut. There's no blood, and it doesn't seem to be an open wound. I put some Neosporin on the spot to prevent infection. I don't know if there's anything else I can do to help though?
I'm thinking that one of the plastic plants in his terrarium scratched him maybe. I'm replacing them all with silk though now. I guess his skin isn't as tough as my tomato frogs'. I couldn't find anything else in his terrarium that could cause the cut. So yeah, kind of scary. Here's a pic below. Let me know if there's anything else I can do for him. =(
