Mating Calls in Very Young ACF?

He could be older than you think, do you know how old he was at the store? I have a male that was a slow grower and was calling when small, was a year old. He has grown since then, but still my smallest frog.

Pet store had him for 6 weeks, I'm guessing he's about 2 months old. He still has that juvenile look to me. I hope he's not even close to full grown because my other frogs will eat him!! :P

One of the ACFs that I raised earlier this year started calling and amplexing at just under 3 months old when he was about the same size as your new frog. He's been calling every night since. I have no idea why some frogs start doing this so early but I'd love to know.
