So... sometimes my frog honks/croaks once when I feed him. Does anyone else's frog do this?
case in point:
Mine doesn't do that but it is very unique in my opinion.
Umm, are his feet touching the glass on the bottom of the tank? Because it sounds like wet skin on wet glass.
Strange, but too cute!
I figured out why my frog does this! It is only if I don't let go of the food fast enough after he has grabbed it. In this video I was using tongs/hemostats that you have to 'unclick' to release which takes a second or two, so I was still holding on to the worm and the frog sensed that so he warned me to let go. I'd hate to find out what would happen if I didn't let goHe's ferocious!
Just like a dog growling it seems, if you haven't named him yet, you could name him honkie, but that only works if your white. :P
Lol!! I can't believe I missed this. I have a Male Samurai Blue that would do this occationaly when grabbing his prey.
