    Default Are frogs noise sensitive?

thinking about building a 24wx18dx36t living vivarium for a tree frog. Only space I have is in my family room and we watch high action movies in surround sound, very loudly. Will a tree frog be effected by the noise?

    thanks for any advice/help/input.

What species? My whites are in my living room and have no problems.

The reason I ask for the species is because if they are a common WC species they may not do so well in high traffic areas of your house.

whats WC? its a coqui frog that came in a plant we bought. It currently resides in our landscaping outside. its getting cold at night and he comes from a tropical climate. was thinking of building a living terrarium for him and putting him inside. But only have one room with enough space. Do you think he can survive outside if I build some type of enclosure or housing? if so, what do you suggest?

I usually try to mist him at night but was thinking it might even be too cold for that?!?

thanks a bunch for your help

WC = wild caught. Being that it is not a native species I would not let it loose.

I havent caught it yet. I was just thinking of helping the poor guy by building a terrarium for him then catching him and putting him in there, but the only space I have available is the family room where we watch movies atleast once a month.

Do you have any suggestions on how to help him? Should I build an enclosure of some sort to protect him from the wind. Its windy here since we are only a couple of miles from the ocean. I think he loves our house because we have tropical landscaping. But unfortunately its kinda colder than his native habitat.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated. this poor guy has already survived 2 citric acid showers. so i want to help him out as much as i can
