Lola has finally come out of her burrow without me pulling her out. I think she is adapted to her new cage now. It took months, but she is finally happy. Thanks so much all of you guys with your help. (Especially Yoshimi and Gail) I just followed your advice and she came out. Thank you so much.
"Look on the wall behind you. Look at that little girl's face. I know you've seen it. But you know what she's never going to be able to see? She's never going to be able to see the simple wonder of a leaf in her hand. Because there's not going to be any trees. Now you think about that."

What was the advice they gave? Must have been pretty good advice to work on a toad that's been shy for months.
The advice? Let the toad be. :P
