So I had an american green tree frog and generally I move it into another container that has only substrate and release some crickets. Than after 15 mins I check if he ate and than move it back to the vivarium. Yesterday I got another female and a male american green tree frogs. What's the best to feed them? Just release crickets in the vivarium or I feed 1 by 1?
Imo its best to allow the frogs to eat on their own terms. I would put crickets inside the enclosure.
It would be best not to move them from enclosure to enclosure just to eat. Your frog wont eat his fill with a time limit. It could take hours. A safe bet would be to put 4-6 MEDIUM crickets a frog in the permanent enclosure per night. Good luck =)
Thanks.
