I have a 55g vivarium set up, which currently houses 5 fbt, the temp. usually stays around 70F, and the humidity has been constant around 90% since I added sheet moss to the land area, and also has a handful of different plants purchased from a local pet store. It took awhile for the plants to take root, but it seemed like they started growing really well soon after I noticed springtails around the tank, which I didn't purchase, they just started showing up. Over the last couple weeks though I have noticed the population of springtails in the tank has exploded to the point they are floating in the water. I don't notice them crawling on the fbt's or bothering them in any way and all are a nice bright green so they don't appear to be stressed. My question I guess is can there be a point in which having to many is bad? Has anyone else had this issue?
