I have 3 red eyes tree frogs in a Exo-Terra Terrarium (cube 24").
I recently decided to built a new vivarium for them
I got a Atasuki terrarium 48x20x24:
I needed to seal the bottom (this terratium is not built to hold water).. I put glass pannels to create a bottom tank and put black plexi.
I used zavlar rubber liquid to sealed the inside wood...
first layer of clay balls
a net and a mix of sand and gravel on top:
water in.. I design a pound section..with a pomp for water circulation..I'm planning to do a rock waterfall at the end of the tube..
shapgnum and frog moss.. some pieces of woods.. plants..
In this corner I'll built a rock water falls:
In the pound section I put 4 little tetras fish
I'll install a fogger and a water auto sprinkler system soon...
Have to arrange the electrical wires to make it nicer too...
to be continued..
comments and suggestions are welcome!
It looks great so far. Keep us posted. The frogs will be very happy
Love that idea. Unique design...How many Red Eyes are you going to be having in there? Keep us posted!
for now there's only 3 red eyes... I'm searching for some albinos or lutinos red eyes to add with them![]()
I installed the fogger machine and arrange the electrical cords...

Very nice terrarium, decor, and frogs Josie! What is your opinion of the "Atasuki" build quality? Read they are built in China but can't find info or US retailers for it. Thank you
!
P.S. Sorry, but isn't this the same thread in another forum section: http://www.frogforum.net/tree-frogs/...tml#post176291?
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
this is awesome, its simple at first glance but also has plenty of foliage and places to find comfort.
I really like it. The driftwood is wonderful. I like how it stretches out over the water. Great job!
Wow! Great job!
