Hi all,
Here's a little information on what I'm planing on doing and then I'll ask my question.
I am planing on starting my first vivarium enclosure build soon and it will be housing some Red Eye Tree Frogs. I will be using 3/32 inch thick acrylic to custom build a 24" w x 24" d x 48" h
(120 U.S. Gallon) enclosure with a false bottom and drain, the enclosure lid/ top will be made of the same acrylic but with a series of 1/2" holes covered with screening tacked to the inside of the lid. I also plain on having a foggier and small water feature.
Now my question at this time is,
Will a enclosure that size need artificial air circulation as in a PC fan in the upper side wall to circulate the air to prevent any stale air from building up with in the enclosure?
Thanks.
unfortunately, there is no way to know until you build the tank. it's not a usual design, so it will be a lot of trial and error on your part, unfortunately. i would plan for it though. i know it's not going to hold a lot of water, but i would build it out of 1/4" acrylic, 3/32 seems awfully thin.

Bill,
After I posted my last post I started thinking about the thickness and 3/32 would be to thin I'll bump it up to 1/4 and I'll plain on adding a fan, If I need it then its there if I don't then its no big deal. Do you by chance know a good place online for acrylic?
Thank You.
