Default GABF Sleeping But Not Aestivating? Help Please!

Hey guys, I've noticed that my pixie has been sleeping during the day for the past two days. I don't think he is aestivating because his conditions have been the same since I got him just over a month ago and he's not buried. I woke him up to make sure he was alive and he was and readily ate and he defecated yesterday which is a good sign as well. I just find it odd that he's doing it during the day and i'm a bit worried that he may be sick. Anyone have any idea what may be going on? Any insight is helpful. Thanks!

This is normal behavior. Pyxi frogs sleep at different intervals during the day and night. Especially once they start to get older. They spend the majority of their time sleeping not aestivating. Aestivation is dry season dormancy where they slow their metabolism and shed several layers of skin and mucus making a coccoon called an epithelial sac. Sleep is normal for frogs while during their active seasons. No worries.

If something was wrong he would refuse food.
