Is there any easy way to tell the sex of a red eyed tree frog?
as babies no. sub adults can sometimes have signs but hard to tell. An easy way to differentiate between male and female is that the male will call around 6 months of age or later. Females are larger, bulker, longer. You can usually tell around 6 months of age because the females will have a larger build. Something I have noticed with keeping this species. I have 4.3 and were able to tell the sex @ six months by those characteristics.
