Poison is correct. Maverick you have a lot to learn. Inbreeding animals is not morally wrong like with people. It is a natural occurence even in the wild.

Plus places like Brazil where many of the Horned Frog species ranges cross into have an embargo in place outlawing any of their natibve species to be harvested for any means and the rest have limited availability. Breeders do aquire WC specimens every so often to add new blood into their breeding lines and strengthening the bloodline. This is not something to freak out about. This is part of the process that gives you these wonderful animals.

You're over exaggerating (no offence). Frogs don't have emotions and religions (at least it has not been proven) like we do. They don't care about inbreeding. It can take several generations till inbreeding can cause harm to them but with humans all it takes is one.

To elaborate on Grif's post, line breeding is no where near homosapien breeding. I've bred many vertebrates, Quail are my largest example of "line bred" species. They have lived long and great lives, with no genetic deformities. I've experienced polymorphism, but with temperatures correct, and humidity correct, i've hatched flawless chicks. A 98% percent success rate to be exact. With no deformities or un-healthy hatchlings.
