Alternatives to covering Great Stuff?

So I'm not a big fan of covering great stuff with coconut fiber or moss and was thinking of making it look like stone after it sets and I carve out the shapes. What can I use to cover it? Grout, Quikrete? Any Ideas other then clay?

Im not a fan of Cocci Fiber either, i used grout and it came out great. Let it sit over night tho, mine contracted and the grout chipped off so i had to redo it.
