Default Frog I Found. Am Curious.

Ok, well i was looking in a little creek/stream in maryland. I found a frog and caught it. It has webbed feet but doesnt seem to like to be trapped under water for a while. It has a black top and a yellow belly (kinda like a snakes). Was wondering if anyone has any info on it or where i can get some. Thanks in advance!

I also have him in a bowl thing with holes in the lid. He/she has the bowl half full of water with a few rocks in it. The froggy is also surrounded by a few big rocks! :P Hope it helps.

That you are keeping the frog trapped in a bowl with water and rocks concerns me. The frog is most likely under a great deal of stress. As for the species, a picture would help to identify it. It could be a bullfrog. Look at this link to identify the species http://www.new.towson.edu/herpetology/Amphibians.htm . You need to either set up a proper terrarium for this frog if you are planning on keeping it, or please release the frog where you found it.

We let him go. I did a bad job of describing where he was. But oh well. He'll be glad to be back! Thanks!

So what was it? I fixed Haley's link, so it will work now.
