Default Help, cotton looking stuff on my dumpy

My dumpy has been rather sluggish lately so I removed him and put him in a quarantine. He has these little white cotton looking stuff on his head, I'm pretty sure it is a fungal infection but not completely sure. I was wondering if I could use pima and mela together? If so what is the dosage for that? Really I haven't done this before so I would really like someone to walk me through the process. Thanks!

a Picture will help a lot.

and I am not sure about mixing meds. 90% of the time it is a bad idea unless a Vet has suggested it.

He seems very calm. I have been treating with melafix and gave him a pedialyte soak today as well. The spots look a lot better today and not fuzzy.

Melafix is a antibiotic not really too much of a anti fungal.

    Quote From wikipedia
"Melafix (a proprietary name) is an all-natural aquariumantibiotic consisting of an essential oil of the Melaleuca genus. Contrary to popular opinion it is not made from the common Tea tree, Melaleuca alternifolia, but from Melaleuca leucadendra, also known as the Cajeput Tree. This is confirmed by the manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet.[1]It is a wide-range antibiotic product, and thus is effective for a wide variety of mild gram positive[2] bacterial infections, such as fin rot. However, it is generally ineffective against aquatic parasites and is typically used for treating the wounds caused by them in order to prevent secondary infection by other microorganisms.[3]"

So you are helping the frogs own immune system to fight the fungal infection. This will work but it will take longer.

And be careful not to confuse "calmness" with lethargy.

Is the frog actively hunting crickets , better yet does it have an appetite, also has it had a Bowel movement in the last few days.

I am very surprised that non of the other regulars haven't chimed in like Lija and Colleen

I lied I'm using Pima. I have both and can't ever remember which is which. Whatever the one for fungus is, that is what I am using. He doesn't seem to have an appetite but after the pedialyte soap yesterday, he was much more active and alert. I have 3 crickets with him now and will let you know if he eats them. Haven't seen any droppings yet either. I am going to try one more day and then it is of to the vet. He hasn't been off food for long so I am not panicking yet however if they don't disappear tonight then, I have to get him fed.
