We rescued 11 tadpoles from our pool....we had thousands of them. We did this on July 4th 2013 and have been watching them grow. We had 12 but the youngest or smallest didn't make it and died last week. The first of the remaining 11 have now developed their front legs. A few of them 11 still barely have back legs. I posted an album of them so you can see our little guys. But we are wondering what do we do now. When do we need to make sure they can climb out? We read that once they get their front legs to stop feeding them as they use their tail as food or something like that but not all of them have front legs yet do we separate them? We plan to let most if not all of them go but we are not sure when that is safe to do....we may keep one or two just because the kids want to but not sure yet. Any help you all can give us would be great.
Missed this one; how are Grey tads doing? At then end of this article there is information on raising toadlets in the Breeding section. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
They seem to be doing great
