    Default Farmers market surprise !

I go to the farmers market every Sunday morning.
Today there was a nice surprise.........a vendor selling beautiful carnivorous plants.
They are all grown , "from seed" , over-wintered outside, here on LI.

    I got these 2:

    Default Farmers market surprise !

Wow they are gorgeous, great find. I sometimes have issues find great plants where I live, most times I need to travel to find them.

FANTASTIC!!!!! Now I am extremely jealous of your plants Lynn!!

Thank you so much for the link too!! I may be doing some ordering!!

Research their climate conditions so that you can house them for years.
    Very impressive choices as well!

He stated that a dry winter is the worst for them, and to keep them out of the wind.
They can stay out ( if I recall ) +12F.
    They need the dormancy.

    I'll give it a try.
I have an unheated sun room that could be a good spot for a few months

Have a relaxing Sunday afternoon ............. everyone !

You can place them in a Ziploc bag and place them in the fridge to winter over. Thats what I do.
