Malayan horned frogs are cool. My local pet store has a few of these in stock but they are kind of expensive and are prone to infections especially on their protuberances.

I have seen many of those horned frogs or leaf frogs or whatever you want to call them, but i just don't want to have to deal with the fact that it might die from mold or get sick easily.

under $15? ummm fire belly toads? But those are semi aquatic. Maybe another green pacman? Sometimes they are sold for $15 out here. But tbh $15 is really low, you wont have much options.

Based on your "not wants" and it being terrestrial; sounds like a toad would fit that "want" and budget. Depending on your location could catch (check laws) a tadpole or toadlet locally and use the $ for it's set-up. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I just looked up laws and it says any amphibian or reptile that is not endangered can be captured and kept as a pet if it it not for the purpose of death. I am going to go herping into the forest and catch some tadpoles and toadlets. The toads n my area are Fowler's Toads and the common American Toad. I am probably going to catch ten and raise them (for higher chances of raising one) then release the others that survive. I will post picture of where I will catch them and what I catch. good decision for got getting nasuta, they are def for beginners, very hard to keep.

when you look for tadpoles, mid june would be better time, they should be all transformed and out of the water by now.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
