Venus fly trap seems small this year.

This one was fully mature but the curious thing is that its only one of them which has these smaller traps. I allowed some other plants to flower as well and their lamina are fine. There must just be some other factor which I haven't noticed which is causing this ones traps to shrink. Thanks for the help.

P.S. I usually split/divide the Rhizome(there's an e on the end) if a smaller plant starts to develop. Do you think that could be a cause? I shouldn't think it is though because it says to separate smaller plants into their own pots in all the care sheets.

If you split them too early they will be weakened and not thrive as well.
