So i know they eat flightless fruit flies, springtails and pin head crickets but i was wondering if i can feed it small ants and small sow bugs and other small bugs that i can find?

It's not ideal but it works, you want to look for stuff that is smaller than the gap between their eyes. Not the easiest task but it can be done. Just make sure you are collecting for a pesticide free area and switch to cb food as soon as it is big enough for what you are able to get.

Thank you. Its hard to find and catch food for it with out killing them cause he is only about 1cm big, so this is goin to be fun!

Watch out 4 small ants. They will bite your toadlets, and once they get a hold, it is hard to get them off.

Well i found a small spider and i think he ate it but not sure. Then i found a small beetle and watched him eat it. It was so cute watching Coco hunt! I am looking forward to many years with Coco!

Unless you have a toad that is known to specialize on feeding ants, I would skip offering it ants. Usually it takes specialized digestive system to break down the nasty formic acid that ants produce. When in doubt, just don't offer ants.
