dartfrog sell an epoxy resin, other than that you could try g4 pond sealer or alot of people use yacht varnish

honestly cannot tell you as i have not used it myself, get yourself over to Amphibians - Reptile Forums they should be able to help you with UK products to specifically use. as for Paint, people usually use acrylic paints
