Hi everyone,
I own a Red-Eye Tree Frog, a Dumpy Tree Frog, and a American Green Tree frog. I bought two minnows to feed the Dumpy, but I was wondering if I could feed the other two frogs one of them, or if feeding the Dumpy fish is even safe? Don't worry, I'm not going to do anything until I get an answer![]()
NO. Those species are all primarily insectivores.
Watching FrogTV because it is better when someone else has to maintain the enclosure!
And arboreal, fish never show up on their radars. So, they would not be a natural food. Now moths, well thats a different story.
Not even if they went to Long John Silver's.![]()
I wouldn't use "feeder" fish as they are often full of parasites. If you must use them, freeze them first or a few days and then thaw them out for feeding.
