My mother showed up today, with two new plants. She walks in the door and thrusts three plants into my arms. She got to telling me she found them on sale at walmart and thought maybe I could put them in my frog tank, like I put the bamboo plant my boyfriend's mother got up in my fish tank. To be honest, the one plant I am pretty possitive will be alright in the tank, but the other two I have no idea.
One is an "Asian Acccent" Bonsai plant and the other is a palm "neanthe bella".
It was sweet of her to think about me, but I have no idea, if they're be okay with a frog.
I have a neanthe bella in my frog tank and it does well, not sure about the Bonsai plant. I mist daily and have a running water fall in tank, stays pretty moist and humid and the Palm is doing fantastic.
Well she'll be happy to know that I can atleast use two of the plants.
The bonsai plant doesn't seem to be a good tank mate, just because it says only water once a week and I have no idea if misting would be considered watering. I'll probably just keep it as a regular house plant.
Oh and I got a 20 Gallon tall today and I'm pretty excited to turn it into a beautiful terrarium.
Thanks
