Hey guys! I have two questions for you today.
1) How much does one typically pay for a red eyed tree froglet? I got mine a long time ago and he's all grown up but I was just curious if I got a good deal, I payed about $35 or $40.
2) How do you cool down an enclosure at night? In the summer my frog's tank is about 82 during the day with just a UV full spectrum bulb, no heat. At night the light turns off and I keep my window open (it ranges from 60-70 outside at night) but the temperature only drops like 3 degrees in his cage. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi ,
1)I think that's about what they cost, currently.
2) A fan
You don't want to go over 82F , for sure.
My red eye enclosure parameters:
day 78-80 max ( my red eye enclosure does not go over 80)
night can go to 71-76 ( but remaining a little higher in the summer is ok)
How' is the humidity level. 70-80 % is fine. never > 80% -- causes respiratory issues.

I have a ceiling fan going most of the time in my room but that doesn't seem to help
Also, the humidity is usually at about 60%
