    Default Breeding Slugs

I was honking of breeding slugs as food for my cane toad but don't know which type to use. Has anyone had any experience with any species? I looked on ebay and there are african velvet slugs and Barbados pancake slugs but I'm worried these may be poisonous. Any suggestions on a good(not deadly) slug?

I would give the african velvet slugs a try. They don't have as much slime as some other slugs, so that's good. Not sure how fast they are going to reproduce though. If they mature and reproduce at the speed of the barbados slug, then they will only be occasional feeders for your toad.

It was just going to be a treat for a different meal every once in a while. Also where it says honking in the first post that should say thinking, lol.

I was reading about breeding slugs somewhere else and they said there slugs laid eggs and they hatched within two weeks.

Yeah two weeks isn't too long for eggs to hatch. It takes like seven to ten months for the slugs to mature and lay eggs though.
