Heck if you live in Florida you might be able to go out and catch some discoids, or P. nivea. I'd recommend both for feeders. Discoids will be easier of course, but Banana roaches have their uses.

Unfortunately Nivea fly though, which could be a deterrent to some keepers (even though they look cool.) I would personally get discoids.
Yeah I guess Panchlora nivea isn't quite the beginners roach.
Still if you can find them wild, and aren't concerned about the flying, why not try them?
