Chances are I will wait until their next sale. Worst comes to worst I will upgrade to a 10 gallon for a while.

I think I have read every care sheet out there lol. He is so teeny though, body length is only about an inch.

He'll read full size in less than a year. A 10 gallon can be purchased for around $13 but for 7 extra bucks you can get a 20 gallon during the Petco $1/gallon sale.

I'd just shell out $40 for the 40gallon breeder, that is an awesome tank for 40 bucks lol..

I have a 40 long lol ... My boyfriend is just very against using that much space :P Oh I know by next year he will be fully grown and I always get a tank during the $1 a gallon sale lol.

I have a teeny bedroom as a double tank stand is pretty critical lol

Petco has their sale like 4 times a year so getting one when needed wont be an issue

That's fine just make sure you don't keep that little guy in the 5 gallon too long you run into complications under 10 gallons unfortunately. =(

Oh I know ... He wont stay in this more than a few weeks I just started a new job so as soon as I get my first paycheck he will get an upgrade. Probably just to 10 gallons but thats not forever.
