Hey everyone. I haven't been on in a while. If you remember I have 3 wonderful fire bellies name Master Chief, Cortana, and The Arbiter. About a month or so ago I came home from church on a sunday and The Arbiter had passed. I'm hoping that maybe some of you might have an idea as to what went wrong. I've always kept my tank set up properly. He used to eat just about every cricket I put in there and was pretty active. A couple months before he passed I noticed that if he jumped towards something he thought was food and opened his mouth, a mucousy slime would come out. I'm not sure if this is something any of you have experience with but I have a feeling it might be a symptom of whatever caused him to die. Any help would be nice. Thank you
Sorry for your dead frog Josh! Hard to tell what caused an apparent healthy frog death, unless you have a vet that knows amphibs do a necropsy.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Hello Josh,
It's sad to read..... you lost one of your FBT
Sometimes, despite trying our best, these things happen, sorry.
Lynn

Awe, I'm sorry to hear one of your little guys passed.
If you'd like you could answer the "Trouble in the enclosure" questions and we could see if we could figure out why. Do any of the others have loose stools?
