Really? Uh oh. A coworker of mine rescues tadpoles from the feeder tanks whenever she sees them and they have always grown up to be bullfrogs and she later releases them in a pond. I don't have experience with tadpoles so I just took it for granted it was a bullfrog since that's all we've ever had.
Because of what you said I asked the aforementioned coworker if the picture of mine looked like the ones she raised (she wasn't at work the day I took it home) and she said hers didn't look like this one. I've been looking at various tadpole species online to compare but I'm totally stumped!
This complicates things, now I'm not even sure how to take care of it if I don't know the species!
