Just like nightcrawlers.
You can use a small glass bowl or dish, or you can tong feed. I prefer to tong feed.
Oh, I personally would not feed them too often because they are very fatty. It's kinda like the Mc Donalds for frogs. "Super size my frog" Would be an excellent movie.
On that note though, I'm not one to talk, my baby is looking a little "hefty." It's gotten many treats. You should be fine just using them "sparingly." You will notice if your frog is getting obese or not. It's kinda hard to say what certain schedule you should use them as or an exact number/how often to feed, because it depends on what you have to offer, and how your frog's overall appearance looks weight wise. So in conclusion, basically I typed up a bunch of stuff that didn't offer any real answers, lol.
Just be thankful I do not have your cell phone number, is my inbox full again?
Well, 3 weeks and 4 days have passed since I got this new little baby. The reason Grif is quoting "He" here, is because I speculated it to be a male earlier on. This however was not the case. Another thing to keep in mind would be the way pictures are taken and presented. It is hard to capture pictures from all angles and sometimes if you only get pics at certain angles, the frog will look a particular sex.
BUT this also goes to show, they can easily be sexed at the 1 month mark. =)
8 and 1/2 week update. All I can say is Oops, and look at his little dirt hat. I guess the lesson to be learned here is to not speculate at 1 month, even though I was pm'ing Grif and Nial35 it was a male at 3 weeks.
Definitely male Lol!!
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
This is funny because pyxie looked a lot like a female, fat body sides and "smaller" head....until today. It was buried all night last night and all morning, when I removed it this afternoon for the monthly cleaning...OMG His head doubled its size, it was A LOT wider and his body looked longer rather than fatter. Like I mentioned before, I prefer a male because I love how they look but even if I end up with a female I will still love my froggy because that "bond" is already made after watching them frog and feeding them every day. In any case, it's shocking how much they can grow in one RANDOM day.
So first it was Lija's "female" that turned out to be a baby rhino, then SCF's "female" that also turned out to be another baby rhino.....could I be the next one lol? Only time will tell!
