Thanks Carlos for the link, its exactly what I needed. Also, thank you Heather. We will definitely keep in touch. Im looking into adding more and planning an ideal set up. Anyone have suggestions? Shelving, containers, etc. My first two are in a large exoterra which has been split down the center for both to share. They have their own mist machine along with proper lighting along with a healthy supply of food and care. I have noticed a huge difference in the two I have. My Albino is way more active than the Fantasy and growing faster too.
Also, are the 2 I have an "albino ceratophrys" and a "Ceratophrys cranwelli" ?![]()
Couple things to add is that you should mix the shredded coco with dechlorinated water so it's slightly damp and clumps in your hand; but does not drip water out. Also, their bath water (dechlorinated too) should be changed daily even if not used.
IRT feeding; best food for them are night crawlers (available at Walmart's sport section). For baby frogs you can cut pieces of worm from their pointy end (size of frog mouth) and worms will heal. The bigger frogs will wrestle a whole worm down and can easily eat 6 or more in one sitting. Food should be dusted with Calcium/D3 2X and vitamins 1X weekly on different days with skip day in between (I use Repashy products but RepCal is good too). Crickets should be same size as distance between frog's eyes. Hope this helps,.
