Default My frog has an interesting habit.

She likes to sleep UNDERNEATH her water bowl. I move it? She digs underneath it again to make her "cave". She just recently figured out that she could dig underneath it, but she apparently really enjoys it. Always hilarious seeing her pop her head out when food is available like some hidden dragon from the depths.

Any interesting habits your frogs have? I've never noticed this before with any of my prior frogs, but this was certainly an entertaining one.

Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Lucy my female Tomato Frog completely buries herself , cant see a shred of her for about 7 to 10 days, shell come out, sit in the water, eat, jump around for a day then makes a new hole and the process repeats itself.

I have it so my pyxie can't get under the water basin, not that I can remember her doing so. She does like to sit in the exact same place whenever she's not bathing, though that's probably because said place is right under the heat lamp.

This is Joni, he sits on top of this little ceramic figure that I placed in in the enclosure 24/7. He will come down to chase a cricket, swim then he goes right back on top. He loves it.Name: Joni1.jpg

My little pyxie likes to attack streams of water. Forgot to mention that. My female never did that or even remotely thought anything about it.

Fairly certain this is a male frog. It has an enormous appetite that my female has never had, and the body contour is definitely different.

My ACF will rest on a little flat rock so that it's touching his belly but all his limbs and head are floating :P

My pyxie does that too, also his tank sits right next to my 55g fbt enclosure and whenever a firebelly would be on land hunting crickets he would always jump into the glass trying to get to the firebelly so I had to put up a barrier...hes my first pyxie, and never seen a frog with such an appetite.
