For the last two days my pacman will go completely under the substrate, I know it is normal for them to burrow but can he breathe with his head covered? But anyway, I dig him up to make sure he is okay and can breathe but today I noticed he looks slimy/shiny. Is he shedding? He has been eating fine and is soaking at night. Any help is appreciated!
You may have kept your frog too cold, pacmans will eastivate if kept too cold and have a mucous cucoon
that like you said looks shiny, you may have disrupted him making his cucoon. if you find him not moving
and in what looks like a plastic bag, keep him in a water dish with warm dechlorinated water for about a
half hour and it should get him out of it and he will eat his skin afterwards.

the shine went away already, i think he may be burrowing deep because the humidity is to low. I ordered a new gauge a few days ago.
